Herd Farm in collaboration with Forest School Plus (www.forestschoolplus.co.uk) can provide outdoor learning experiences to enhance your pupils’ knowledge, understanding and wellbeing.
Herd Farm is home to three full-sized replica Iron Age roundhouses. This exciting setting is conducive to understanding and appreciating the challenges of prehistoric life and the knowledge, skills and ingenuity that were required to survive over 2,000 years ago in Britain.
During a Key Stage 2 visit to the Herd Farm roundhouses, children will be immersed in a stimulating environment and guided through Prehistory or the Roman period by
Tina (www.forestschoolplus.co.uk ), experienced teacher and Forest School leader and Ian (www.ianrobertsarchaeology.co.uk ), experienced consultant archaeologist.
Other visits to Herd Farm with Forest School Plus are also available for Early Years, Key Stage 1 and other groups including Forest School, curriculum linked outdoor learning and CPD.
Please contact Herd Farm or contact Tina to discuss your needs and costs.
